What kind of people are Incitec Pivot looking for?
Incitec Pivot is looking for people with relevant university degrees, superior problem solving skills, a strong desire to achieve, work experience, extra curricular activities, team/leadership experiences and strong interpersonal skills.

I have no previous work experience can I still apply?
There is no requirement for you to have had any relevant work experience if you are applying to our graduate program. However we would ask that you include all your work experience on your application form even if this was a previous casual or part time position held.

I've already graduated. Am I still eligible to apply?
Yes. We recruit graduates with some work experience as well as people who are taking gap years or pursuing postgraduate courses. If you have substantial relevant work experience, please visit our Career Opportunities page.

I am an international student. Am I still eligible to apply?
We only accept applications from Australian or New Zealand citizens and permanent residents.

Do I get a notification when you have received my application? You will receive an email confirmation when you have successfully lodged your application.

When does the Incitec Pivot graduate program commence?
The graduate program commences in early February each year.

Where can I meet Incitec Pivot representatives?
Each year Incitec Pivot attends a number of university careers fairs and campus events in Queensland. For further information refer to key dates.

If I have a double degree or post graduate qualifications would this be seen as advantageous?
Yes, this would be advantageous, however not necessary. Incitec Pivot looks at a range of different qualities and previous experience. We are look for well rounded graduates, whom encompass Incitec Pivot values and demonstrate leadership potential.

If I am successful as an Incitec Pivot graduate where will I be based?
If you are successful as an Incitec Pivot graduate you must be prepared to relocate to any of our sites. Our sites are located throughout Queensland and Geelong in Victoria.

If I need to relocate for the Incitec Pivot Graduate Program will I receive relocation assistance?
Yes, relocation assistance will be provided if you need to relocate for from your current residence. Relocation assistance will also be provided when you relocate within the graduate program.

What if I finish mid-year?
If you finish in mid year and meet our application criteria, we welcome you to apply for Graduate Program, however you won't be able to start until February the following year (except in exceptional circumstances).

What academic achievements should I list?
An academic achievement is anything which is an exceptional performance in an academic setting. This can include performance in both secondary and tertiary settings and can include (but is not limited to) awards and prizes.

What other achievements should I list?
Other achievements should be drawn from pursuits outside of an academic environment. They can include any examples of leadership and/or special achievements and may be drawn from workplace, community or sporting settings.
